Windows Client User Guide

This user guide describes the Perfion Windows application. The guide can be used as a reference tool for specific functionality or as a complete introduction to Perfion for new users.

The user guide is aimed at Perfion Users and Super Users. It is not a tool for Administrators. Administrators should use the Perfion Administrator Guide.

Access rights

Almost all data and functions in Perfion are controlled by access rights. Your administrator determines what rights you have as a Perfion user.

In this guide it is assumed, that you have Administrator user rights. If not, some functions will not be available to you.

Keyboard shortcuts

Many operations in Perfion can be done with keyboard shortcuts. These are not explained in the guide.

Please refer to Windows Client Keyboard Shortcuts for detailed information about keyboard shortcuts.

Starting Perfion

Your administrator will provide you a link to start Perfion. It will look like this:

When you double-click this icon, you may see a login screen like this:

Log in with UserId and Password provided to you by your Administrator.

NOTE: If you do not see the login screen, your Administrator has set you up with “single sign-on”. This means that your Perfion login is linked to your Windows login.

After login, Perfion starts with your default main screen.
